BISHOP B. DERONE ROBINSON'S BIO
B. Derone Robinson is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Abundant Life Christian Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Bishop B. Derone Robinson and Elect Lady Brenda Robinson were both born and grew up as childhood friends in Memphis, Tennessee. They have been married for 35 years. They have four adult children, Cedric (Bobette), Terence, Sharonda (Patrick) and Micah (Destinee) and 16 grandchildren.
He graduated from Southside High School in 1974, enlisted in the United States Air Force in May 1976 and retired in 1997 after 21 honorable years of service to his country. He has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Aircraft Armament System Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies from Phoenix Bible College & Seminary.

Bishop Robinson was called into ministry in 1978, licensed in 1986, ordained in 1989 and ordained as Bishop in 2009. In ministry for 31 years, he has traveled and ministered extensively conducting teaching seminars and evangelistic outreaches throughout the United States and many countries abroad to include Africa, Spain, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Italy, in addition to England and Germany, where he pioneered and pastored churches.
There are many who have influenced their passion and love for God and His people. Some who have passed on to glory, notably Pastor Willie Holly, one of their spiritual fathers in the Lord who taught them how to pastor and love the people of God. Others who are still active in the ministry, Apostle Johnnie Smith, Elder Nate Crawford, Pastor Leon Brown who were all the first spiritual fathers whom they had the honor of sitting under their tutelage. There are others who through mentorship (Dr. Myles Munroe, Evangelist Olivia Mitchell, Minister Judy Jacobs, and Pastor Russell Freeman), friendship and all of their constituents in the ministry who were instrumental in providing a godly influence in their lives.
Bishop Robinson, Elect Lady Brenda and Word of Abundant Life Christian Center are under the spiritual leadership of Dr. Myles Munroe of Bahamas Faith Ministries International and Premier Ambassador Members of the International Third World Leaders Association (ITWLA).
Bishop Robinson is a man of God for the people of God and has been serving with distinction and honor, with Elect Lady Brenda by his side, as Pastor and Founder of Word of Abundant Life Christian Center since 1997. God’s mandate to Reach All, to Teach All, and to Disciple All for the Kingdom of God echoes throughout the Phoenix metropolitan community daily through their radio ministry and weekly through their televison ministry broadcasts “Living the Abundant Life". Bishop Robinson states, “I believe the fruits of this ministry will yield Men and Women of God in Excellence, Integrity, and Purpose whose lives will produce Life-changing Impacts in their Homes, Communities, and the World!”
